I decided that Kelly's communal tag would work for me. So, here are my six things:
1. I can never decided what I want to be when I grow up. When I was younger I wanted to be, a wedding planner, a florist, (I wanted to do this when I was about 7, then thought about the fact that flowers have bugs. Yuck!) a professional ballerina, in the Olympics, and a mommy. More recently I have wanted to be a ultra-sound technician until I got married, but found a better idea where I could still do something I am interested in and be a stay-at-home mom. That job is church pianist and a mom who homeschools here children. (I want at least 5 kids)
2. I like to cut out paper dolls. I do it at night and find it very soothing. Right know I am cutting out Civil War era paper dolls. The outfits are so lovely!
3. I collect stuffed owls. I also name them after famous composers such as, Beethoven, Liszt, Rimsky-Korsakov, and Handel.
4. I used to bite my nails. Finally, I just told myself that I wanted long nails so I made myself stop. Now though I have to cut them or else it is too hard to play piano.
5. I like to organize things (This is NOT cleaning it is more fun). I enjoy using my mom's P-Touch label maker and storing things in there correct bins and baskets.
6. I hardly ever wear socks. I can never find them, or my sisters have stolen them. So, my toes are always cold and they flock to anything warm such as heater vents or my sisters legs when they are sitting beside me on the couch.
Well, I hope you enjoyed this because it took me forever to write. My sister Katy said that is because I am an open book and love to talk. I tag Jude and Lindsay!

Blogging
I added a poll! Now a feel like a real bon-a-fide blogger. I also have been commenting on more blogs then I used to. My aunt told me that commenting is proper blog etiquette. This is a very short post, but I wanted to express my happiness that I am understanding this tech stuff.

Christmas Time is here
I love Christmas! It is my favorite time of year. Yes, I know it is only the middle of October but I am already eagerly anticipating the season of our Lord's birth. I love every aspect of Christmas, the shopping, the gift wrapping, the Nutcracker, decorating the tree, and especially the music. I started playing Christmas music on the piano in September. It brings me an inexpressable amount of joy and my family dismay. They all don't relish the sounds of, "Joy to the World" quite as much as I do. In fact they had a rule that you couldn't sing or play Christmas music until the day after Thanksgiving. Tough luck for them! I can't wait until I get to start wrapping presents. I am not very good at it but, I like to do it probably because I get to listen to Christmas music. I am really excited for Christmas this year because my sister Clare and her 2 kids are going to be here! The more the merrier. Well, merry Christmas!

A little about Awana
I really enjoy Awana. Especially L.I.T.ing (did I do that right?). That stands for leaders in training. I help out in the Sparkies group which is for kids in kindergarten through second grade. The kids are so cute! I helped out in a group that I hadn't helped out in before tonight, and there was this little boy who was a doll! He was such a mumbler and mixed parts of John 3:16 into every verse. He had a Tootsie Pop and was licking it very slowly and methodically. So, I asked if he was trying to count how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop, and he starts counting 1,2,3, etc. He got all the way up to 25 then skipped to 1,000. He was adorable! I love spending time with the kids and I enjoy having the opportunity to teach little kids about the Bible. Is there truly any greater joy than seeing children learn about Jesus?

Friends
I love my friends! I have lots of different types of friends. One of my best friends is my sister Katy. She is the highly intelligent and ambitious friend. Katy is a great person to talk to because she lives with me so we frequently have chats until 11:15 when my mom breaks up the party. She is a big help when you have to do things such as school projects. Once I had to do a creative writing assignment for one of my co-op classes and she practically wrote the thing for me because my brain was fried and it turned out hysterical. Katy is definitely one of my best friends.
My friend Lindsay is a different kind of friend. She loves to talk just like me and so we frequently talk on the phone for an hour or so. Tonight we talked for about 50 minutes and we just talked about all sorts of things from boyfriends (I don't have one but she does) to witnessing. I admire her because she is not afraid to share her faith. She tells me stories of how in school they have debates on things like pre-maritail sex and how she is one of the only ones who opposes it. Lindsay is a fabulous friend and I adore her.
My friend Jude is yet another kind of friend. She is now my e-mail buddy. Since we don't live in the same state and we both are very busy it is sometimes hard to catch up with each other. She is such a great friend because even when we haven't talked to each other in a long time we still can understand each other's feelings and share secrets with each other. We have been friends for a long time and yet can still connect and understand each other. She is a amazing friend and I couldn't go through life without a friend like her.
Friends are such a blessing and I love all mine! They are a so different yet each wonderful in there own unique way. I thank God for my friends!
