Practice makes Perfect!

My friend Lindsay and I performed a piano duet yesterday night. We played, "Duet Fantasy of Carol of the Bells". It was for the ladies' Christmas Tea at our church. We had planned on performing later in the month and therefore, only started practicing it 3 weeks ago. That is not a very long time to practice a duet. We were kind of worried when we practiced last Wednesday and realized how horrid we were. Luckily, a very sweet lady who had done the same duet before helped us sort through it. Last night stomachs aflutter we performed and, alas we did fabulous! We were extremely proud of ourselves. Luckily, we did it for the Lord and I don't think He cares if we messed up a couple of times.

Lisy,
Even your bad playing sounds pretty darn good. I wish that for Christmas next year you would make me a CD of you playing Christmas Carols. It was so fun to hear you when I was home, keep it up you make us all very proud:)

Your duet was marvelous! I was so proud, you would have thought I was the one playing. Hearing all of your great carols has been one of the highlight of the season for me.
